The purpose of this
study is to provide guiding principles and tools in Professional Development for the self and to educators through dimensions
of values, practice and the seamless integration of them in the form of a Living Educational Theory.
The aim of my Living
Educational Theory is to help oneself think and reflect on standards of judgment by transforming them into practice and in
the process letting educators and others explore my unique knowledge base.
A second aim is to
bring more understanding and awareness of choices by encouraging others to select standards of judgment and apply them in
practice as seamless as possible.
The third aim is
to use an Action Research approach and my portfolio as an instrument of a Living Educational Theory to share my views on professional
development to educators and others thereby providing another perspective for integrating into the world of education.
The methodology I
have chosen is an emic research or naturalistic inquiry of how I perceive a dynamic situation as a living educational
theory through Action Research that is in the form of a portfolio.
