Overview
This is a hands-on practical course. Job Search helps students with what will
become a main pre-occupation - finding work. Students will often begin their jobs search up to six months before leaving ITI.
Purpose
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the tools necesary to finding and
landing a job. By the end of this course the student will:
- Interpret and reply to advertisements
- Write a Curriculum Vitae or Resume
- Write eimployment-related correspondence including cover letters, follow-up letters,
and thank-you letters.
- Be able to fill out necessary empoloyment applications
- Prepare for a job interview
- Be professional and condident at a job interview
- Ask relevant job-related questions of the interviewers
- Use appropriate non-verbal communication at a job interview
